On my YouTube channel Purnell’s Production, there are currently 3 interviews out now! Each artist whom I grew to know on a personal level. In my process before actually choosing my artist, I listen to their music and message. If I like their message I go further with proceeding if there is something I see in them. Most artists have a hunger to succeed and better themselves and go through years of development to perfect their sound. I want to start the beginning by working with musicians. I enjoy the process of learning them, where they come from, and how they were cultivated into who they are now. While researching people, I found it more beneficial to be in the human business first rather than the music business, more empathic.I do all of this in the hope to become a Music A&R, I want to make the unknown, known.
My first Interview was with Karisma PHX Kid, Karisma is a Phoenix local artist who spits knowledge and wisdom from his personal experience from being kicked out of school and growing up into the strong Ingenious/Chicano man he is now. He talks about the come-up of being an independent artist and inspiring those around him because at a point in life that's what he needed the most.

My Second Interview was with King Ladi, Ladi is a new Phoenix Artist who came out here for college. Ladi is a Chicago native with an entrepreneurial mindset. He creates heartfelt music as well: a podcast, a clothing apparel line, and a motivational speaker. In this interview, he allows me into his studio where the magic is done, and talks about the meaning behind some of his latest song releases.
